Installing WordPress with Softaculous

One-Click WordPress Installation

Softaculous makes WordPress installation simple and fast with just one click.

Installation Steps

1. Log in to your cPanel account
2. Find "Softaculous Apps Installer" in the Software section
3. Click on the WordPress icon
4. Click the "Install Now" button
5. Fill in the installation details:
   • Choose Protocol: https:// or http://
   • Choose Domain: Select your domain
   • In Directory: Leave blank for root installation
   • Site Name: Your website name
   • Site Description: Brief description
   • Admin Username: Choose secure username
   • Admin Password: Strong password
   • Admin Email: Your email address
6. Choose language and plugins (optional)
7. Click "Install"

Post-Installation Steps

1. Access your WordPress admin panel:

   https://yourdomain.com/wp-admin

2. Install essential plugins:
   • Security plugin (Wordfence, Sucuri)
   • SEO plugin (Yoast SEO, Rank Math)
   • Caching plugin (WP Rocket, W3 Total Cache)
3. Choose and customize a theme
4. Set up permalinks (Settings > Permalinks)

Automatic Updates

Softaculous can automatically update WordPress:

1. Go back to Softaculous in cPanel
2. Click "All Installations"
3. Find your WordPress installation
4. Enable automatic updates
